Três Bagos Grande Escolha Red featured on The Wine Show

The wine Três Bagos Grande Escolha Red, of Lavradores de Feitoria, was one of the protagonists of the third season of The Wine Show, the famous tv show hosted by wine experts Joe Fattorini and Amelia Singer, and with the participation of four actors and wine enthusiasts: Matthew Goode, James Purefoy, Matthew Rhys and Dominic West.

It premiered last Saturday, at 24 Kitchen Portugal, and Lavradores de Feitoria was represented by its CEO, Olga Martins. An experience that became even more breathtaking when Joe Fattorini chose the wine that represents the future of the Douro Valley. Out of three Douro wines, Três Bagos Grande Escolha Red was the chosen to integrate the box that will represent the best of this season in wines.

The 2016 vintage of Três Bagos Late Harvest was launched

After the 2010 and 2011 vintages, the long-awaited Late Harvest 2016 from Lavradores de Feitoria was finally released. It’s a white wine, of exquisite sweetness, very peculiar in production and created to fill the absence of a dessert wine in the portfolio of Lavradores de Feitoria.

Três Bagos Late Harvest 2016 is exclusively made from the Sémillon variety, with the bunches being harvested after the usual harvest time when the grapes are botrytized, that is, affected by the so-called noble rot. It underwent careful fermentation and at low temperatures, followed by aging in French oak barrels for a year.

Displays a lively and bright golden straw color, a very exuberant aroma, with citrus hints, nuances of fig, honey and some apricot, and a very pleasant, fresh and full palate.

Três Bagos Late Harvest 2016 is a limited edition of 3.140 bottles and is now available in our Online Shop.

Vale da Corça and Vinicom sign distribution partnership

Vinicom has just ensured the distribution of Brunheda wines from Douro producer Vale da Corça. This partnership confirms the growing bet in the Douro region where Vinicom already works with brands such as Quinta do Vale Meão, Lavradores de Feitoria or Quinta do Côtto.

The integration of the producer Vale da Corça adds diversity to the Douro wine portfolio, as they’re born in the Tua valley. Quinta de Brunheda, recognized as one of the most emblematic in the region, has been in the possession of the Mesquita family since 1720 and consists of 360 hectares of land where the typical Douro varieties are planted.

Vale da Corça wines are available from today in our Online Shop.

Vinicom team visits Freixenet headquarters

At the beginning of last July, the entire Vinicom team headed to Barcelona to make a visit to the headquarters of Freixenet, which was a truly unforgettable experience.

In addition to further strengthening Vinicom’s connection to Freixenet, the visit also served to give our team a better understanding of the history and dimension of the Catalan producer.

As it should be, the city of Barcelona also deserved a visit from our team.
