One of the largest and best known producers of Cava
Freixenet was founded from the union of two Spanish families with a long tradition in viticulture: the Ferrer family and the Sala family. The birth of the brand dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when Pedro Ferrer Bosch and his wife, Dolores Sala Vivé, decided to dedicate themselves exclusively to the elaboration of sparkling wine according to the traditional method.
The Freixenet Group is a 100% family company with 21 wineries in 7 countries and spread over 3 continents. Currently, Freixenet is one of the biggest and best known producers of Cava, producing large quantities and with enormous quality. It is a world leader in the elaboration of sparkling wines according to the traditional method.
