When wine is also an art

Created by British entrepreneur and art collector Howard Bilton and renowned Australian winemaker David Baverstock, Howard’s Folly is an urban winery dedicated to the production of small batches of premium wines, based on old vines of Portuguese and French grape varieties.

Its portfolio includes award-winning wines made with grapes from Portalegre – where they benefit from the freshness of the Serra de São Mamede – and a liqueur wine from Carcavelos. The project also brings art and charity together under one roof through the Sovereign Art Foundation.
