A recuperação da tradição dos vinhos de talha

Bojador is a personal project of producer Pedro Ribeiro, who has realised an old dream: transforming his connection with the Alentejo into wine. He began taking the first steps in 2010 and chose Vidigueira to do so. It is here, in this unique place, with a millennial tradition of dedication to the vine and wine, that Pedro produces his wines. Wines that he wants to convey the soul of the Baixo Alentejo.

These are wines designed from old vines selected and monitored by the producer. Wines that have a memory of the history of this land that is now his. Mineral, fresh, elegant, emotional and authentic wines! At Bojador, a selection is made of the blocks of old vines that best express Vidigueira’s terroir.

The main objective is to obtain an extreme representation of the terroir in the wine glass. The talha wines have had a more evident protagonism in this project although they represent only 10% of the volume produced.
