Vinhos verdes from the Amarante subregion
AB Valley Wines is focused on the production of vinhos verdes and came to be in 2016 as the result of a partnership between António Sousa, winemaker from the region, and Bernardo Lencastre, vigneron in the region and a perfect wine lover.
The pleasure of making wine and crossing the limits of a certain wine status quo that prevails throughout the region, led these two longtime friends to produce wines that express the potential of the indigenous grape varieties and the terroir of the Amarante subregion in Vinhos Verdes.
Alvarinho, Avesso, Arinto, Loureiro or Vinhão are some of the grape varieties worked by AB Valley Wines.
