Produced in Portalegre to the north east of Alentejo, this wine aged 12 months in a mix of new and used French oak barrels. It has deep dark intense red colour. Complex perfumed aromas of wild berry fruits, with earth and licorice notes. Soft, smooth and creamy well balanced palate with firm tannins giving structure and longevity. Serve at 15ºC, with red meat and game dishes.
